Adventures in Stamping: Two stamps (or more)

12 Aug

I ended up using three stamps for this challenge, and while I’m not completely satisfied with the result, it didn’t turn out as bad as I thought it would. I decided this challenge would be a good opportunity to try a french tip stamp since I always avoid those!

See why I don’t use the french tip stamps? My alignment needs a lot of work!
I started with one coat of OPI Lincoln Park After Dark Suede, and stamped a full nail design from Konad plate m79 in China Glaze Harmony. It’s very subtle but still visible. Then I added the star tips from plate m44 in Sally Hansen Silver Sweep, and on my ring finger I did a star design from plate CH26 with the same stamping colors.

I was actually worried this was going to turn out much worse since I don’t usually use more than one stamp, but the only thing that bothers me is the uneven tips and I guess that just takes some practice.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, tonight I’m going to the casino and to a Linkin Park concert! :D
