Happy Hands Springs

16 Aug

I’m feeling a bit better from my cold today, I actually stayed home yesterday with a fever but I did get some rest so I’m ready to show you another new polish I recently got.

Happy Hands Springs
I applied three coats of Happy Hands Springs, a turquoise jelly base packed with small turquoise hexes and medium sized light green and holo hexes. This was a bit thick, and with three coats it dried bumpy so I’d recommend a couple of coats of top coat, I used two thick coats of SV. I got a good mix of glitters, but I wanted to see more holos and some of them got covered up with the second and third coat. Next time, I’ll layer this over a creme polish so it doesn’t end up so thick and more glitter stays on the surface. I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems like Essie Turquoise & Caicos would be a good match!

I added a macro shot of the bottle to show the glitter. Love the colors and those green hexes, I just wish the formula was a little thinner.
I had a hard time photographing this, took a lot of pictures but they were all turning out blurry and dark, I blame it on the dark and rainy weather! I also tried in the light box and it made my skin look a weird color and they were still too dark.

Happy Hands is sold on Etsy, and you can follow the Facebook page for news and updates.
