Nail Sauce Frost My Tart

10 Aug

Hi guys! I have another pretty indie to show you today. Nail Sauce is a brand I hadn’t heard much of (although I’m usually out of the loop on most things!), and actually couldn’t find any real swatches of this polish (Google kept sending me to recipe sites) before I bought it but I decided to give it a try anyway.

Nail Sauce Frost My Tart

Frost My Tart has a milky white base and it’s made up of very fine light purple glitter, small orange and bright turquoise glitter and medium sized coral hexes in a coral salmon-y color. At the first coat it seemed very sheer so I applied the second coat a bit thicker, and then a thin third coat in the spots that were still a bit sheer. It dried a but gritty as is normal with glitters so I used two coats of SV, and it required almost no clean up and I’m always happy about that. The only issue I had was that on the first coat the hexes didn’t want to stay on my nails, maybe because I was applying it too thin, but they stayed on fine with the next coat.

I wouldn’t have thought of this color combination, but it works and I ended up loving it! I purchased Frost My Tart from Nail Sauce Etsy store which is currently open and stocked!

The name for this polish is perfect. Pop Tarts all the way! I’ve tagged you for the Liebster Award and you can check out the rules and my questions for you on my blog.
