Polish Days: Geometry
4 Sep
It’s time for Polish Days again! If you don’t know what this is, take a look at this site for more info. The theme for today is Geometry, I thought of doing something with shapes and this is what I pictured in my head when I read the theme so I’m glad it turned out how I wanted it.
I started with Color Club New Bohemian as my base color, and on my ring finger I added two coats of CrowsToes Absolum/Your Potions Master. For the other nails, I cut the shapes on painters tape and sponged some squares and triangles in Sally Hansen Brisk Blue, Essie Pretty Edgy and Essie No Place Like Chrome. I added some random dots with Essie Orange, It’s Obvious, I was trying to keep the same colors as in Absolum and I think they matched pretty well!
This was so fun and easy to do! I’ve seen Absolum layered over darker teal-ish colors but I decided to use a color like New Bohemian for this because I wanted a light color to sponge over, it looks pretty good over this too. It’s a lovely glitter, I’ll have to wear it in a full mani soon!
Check out all the other Polish Days post below and thanks so much to Hannah of Polly Polish for organizing this! ![]()
