Polish Days: Jelly Sandwich

3 Jul

Hello! Today I have a Polish Days post, basically this is when a group of bloggers posts a theme mani on the same day, for more information visit

The theme for today is Jelly Sandwich, and at first I was happy about it because I recently got several jellies but then I ran into a problem: I couldn’t choose which one to use! So I thought the best thing to do was Skittle Jelly Sandwiches!

Nfu Oh Jelly Sandwiches

Aren’t these cute?? I love this look, they remind me of funfetti cake and candies!
From index to pinky: Nfu Oh JS12, JS09, JS16, JS23.
I did two coats of the Nfu Oh jellies, one coat of Claire’s Bedazzled and another coat of the jellies. I finished everything off with one thick coat of NYC GCS. I love how they look soft but still very colorful!
The red was the most sheer, but they all applied nicely and dried glossy and squishy looking :)

And then just for fun, I added one coat of Essie Matte About You.

They look like frosted glass! ♥♥♥
I can’t decide which version I like more, I’m just in love with jelly sandwiches now!

Thanks for looking! :)

And check out all the jelly sandwiches of everyone else who is participating below!

Pink Wednesday: Claire’s Candy Shop

2 May

It’s Wednesday today, which means I have pink on my nails and there is only two days left until the weekend! :)
I’ve been looking for this polish for a while and went to several Claire’s before I finally found it.

Claire's Candy Shop

This is three coats of Candy Shop plus top coat. I added two layers of top coat to make it smooth. I wish the glitter had spread out a little better in some spots, it seemed to clump up a bit, but other than that I’m glad I got it. I’m enjoying the look of glitters layered between jelly-ish polishes lately. For some reason all my pictures came out blurry, these are the best I could find.

This polish really makes me think of candy!

Have a good Wednesday! :)

More Halloween nails!

31 Oct

I have one more Halloween look for today! I got this glow in the dark polish at Claire’s and wanted to try it so this is what I came up with:

Halloween BM spiders
I applied Wet n Wild French White Creme and then the glow in the dark on top. It’s a square bottle with a silver skull on the cap. This is the first GITD polish I’ve tried, it was very sheer and thick, it dried a little rough. I think the white polish must not have been completely dry because it cracked and had some weird colored spots when I applied the Claire’s one.
I added spiderwebs from with China Glaze Millenium and spiders with black konad polish, both stamps from plate BM13.

I tried to take a picture of it in the dark.

It was pretty glowy in person but it was hard to capture, I think it looks cool though! Happy Halloween! I hope everyone is enjoying their candy! :)
